Is it possible to connect both USB cable and Serial cable to the same machine at the same time?
No.
Select either USB or Serial.
If both are connected, the USB connection will take priority.
When the USB cable is connected, the serial port cannot be used for communication.
If a communication error occurs when a serial port is selected, check whether the USB cable is connected to the printer.
If so, remove the USB cable from the printer.
