Skipped stitches

  • The threading on the machine is improper.
    Make sure that the threads are passed into the machine properly. Rethread the threads to the machine in an appropriate procedure.
     
  • Thread tensions are not adjusted properly.
    Adjust the thread tension.
     
  • The needle is bent, or the tip of needle is blunt or broken.
    Check all needles, and then replace the needle if it damaged.
     
  • Needle is installed incorrectly.
    Reinstall needles correctly.
     
  • Wrong needle is used.
    Use correct needle. The recommended needle is Schmetz 130/705H (90 / #14).
     
  • Presser foot pressure is too loose.
    Turn the pressure adjustment screw clockwise to increase the presser foot pressure.
