It takes a long time for the printer to print out the first page.

Please try the following:

  • Change the length of time the printer will wait until it goes into Sleep Mode.
    The printer will return to Sleep Mode after every print job. When the printer is in Sleep Mode, it receives print jobs but will take  time for the printer to wake up.
    You can set a longer wait to sleep time to keep the printer in ready mode which will shorten the first print out time.

  • Reduce the data size of the print job.
    If the data of the print job is large, it takes a longer time until the printer starts printing.

  • Reduce the print resolution.
    If the printing resolution is high, it takes a longer time until the printer starts printing.
