Fax Problem - Troubleshooting

Settings

• Changes to the contents stored in the address book do not become effective in the stored speed dial numbers in Windows®.
• When I do a broadcast, the resolution is not the same as the resolution I saved in the scan profile of a group member. Why?
• I cannot choose a color file format when creating a group or doing a broadcast to E-mail addresses. Why?

Cannot Send

• When I send a fax from the machine, an error "not register." or "not registered." is displayed.
• I'm using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and am having problems sending faxes. 
• I am experiencing problems sending a fax, what can I do?

Cannot Receive

• I'm using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and am having problems receiving faxes.

• Why doesn't the machine answer when receiving a call?

Cannot PC-FAX

• The rainbow cursor keeps spinning when I click on Copy/PC-FAX in ControlCenter2 (For Mac OS X 10.7).
• I'm using Windows® NT4/ 2000 and Windows® XP. I want to use a name from my address book to send a FAX. The address book is stored on a network share and when I try to access the address book I can not open it.

Fax Quality Problem

• How do I improve the copy or fax quality?
• When receiving a 1 page fax, why does the fax print on 2 pages or a blank sheet ejects afterwards?
• Why are the faxes I send always received with a black vertical line down the page?
