P-touch Editor Problem - Troubleshooting

P-touch Editor 5.0

• I cannot register the Add-In in 64 bit editions of Microsoft® Office 2010 (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows).
• I cannot select my printer name from the "Application Matching Printer" drop-down menu in the "Printer Setup" dialog box (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows).
• Can I use the P-touch Editor application to edit a picture that I imported?
• During the installation of P-touch Editor 5.0, the message "uninstall the previous version of the software" appears.
• My format is reset to default once my label has been printed when running the Excel Add-In. (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows)
• When I try to use the database function, an application error occurs. (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows)
• The P-touch Add-In is registered in Microsoft Word or Excel, but it still cannot be used. (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows)

P-touch Editor 5.0 for Macintosh

• I cannot capture a screenshot using P-touch Editor in Mac OS X 10.7 (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Macintosh).

P-touch Editor 4.2

• I am using P-touch Editor 4.2 but the Add In utility does not work with Office 2007.
• When I try to run the P-touch Library, a warning message "A compatible printer cannot be found" appears.
• The P-touch Add-In is registered in Microsoft Word, but the P-touch icon or "Brother P-touch" in the Tools menu does not appear as normal.
• P-touch Add-in icons are not displayed in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
• My format is reset to default once my label has been printed when running the Excel Add-In
• The text format which is used with the Add-in Function differs from the original data. Why?
• When I try to use the database function, an application error occurs.
• The Add-in software does not recognize the supply roll in the machine. How can I correct this?

P-touch Editor 4.1

• Whenever I attempt to open Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook, a Security Warning window comes up and warns me that the macros may contain viruses. What should I do?

• I clicked the "Auto Format" button but cannot find the template files.

• My printer will not print.
• I selected the "Return Address Label", but nothing is displayed on the label. Why?
