To confirm the software version of your embroidery machine

1. Turn on the sewing machine. The LCD comes on.
    
2. Press    (Settings key) on the operation panel.
   

     

3. The settings screen appears.
    
    
4. Press    (Previous page key).
    
5. If the version is already v1.10 or later, it is not necessary to update your machine with the program on this page.
   

     

   • “VERSION” is the program version which is installed in the machine.
    

How to download the update program to your hard drive

1. Create a temporary folder (ex. C:\Temp) on your PC to save the update program file to be downloaded.
    
2. Click the [Download] button.
    
3. Select the previously created temporary folder (ex. C:\Temp) where the downloaded file should be stored.
    
4. Download update file (ccbbuwf110.up5).

How to update your machine's software

----- Memo -----

• When the machine's software is updated, saved combinations of character and decorative stitches are erased.
   
• While the software is being updated, the buzzer will not sound when a key is pressed.

1. While holding    (Settings key) pressed, turn on the machine.
   
   The following screen appears.
   

     

2. Plug the USB cable connectors into the corresponding USB ports on the computer and on the machine.
   

     

3. The “Removable Disk” icon appears in “My Computer” on the computer.
    
    
4. Copy the update file (ccbbuwf110.up5) to "Removable Disk".
   

     

5. The message “Connected to PC. Do not disconnect the USB cable.” appears.
   

     

6. When the screen shown in step 1 appears again, press    (LOAD key).
   

     

7. The message “Saving the upgrade file. Do not turn main power to OFF.” appears.
   

     

8. When the following screen appears, updating is completed.
   

     

   ----- Note -----
    If an error occurred, an error message appears.
   At this time, turn the machine off, and then start the procedure again from step 1.

9. Disconnect the USB cable, and turn the machine off, then on again.
    
    
10. Your machine's software has been updatd to Ver1.10.
