Trouble Shooting

• I tried to send an embroidery file from Design Center or Design Database to Layout & Editing, but the embroidery data was not imported to Layout & Editing.
• "Unexpected file format." appears on my PC when I try to import an image file.
• When I start up PE-Design, "No card writer module is connected…" message appears, although a card writer module is connected to PC with USB cable directly.
• When I create an embroidery pattern design on PE-DESIGN(PE-DESIGN, PE-DESIGN Lite, or PED-Basic), what Design Page Size is my sewing machine?
• When I embroider a pattern with an outline and an inside region, there is a gap (where nothing is sewn) between the outline and the inside region. When the pattern is checked in the "Preview" screen, no gap appears between them. What can I do to finish the embroidery without this gap?
• When an original card is inserted into the machine, the message "This embroidery card cannot be used." appears, and embroidering is not possible.

Layout & Editing

• I am trying to open designs that I have downloaded from the Internet or from a disk. When I try to open them in Layout & Editing, it gives an error message "unexpected file format".
• I tried to import a "*.DST" file, but the thread colors became nonsense.
• When I sew an embroidery pattern design exported as DST format in PE-DESIGN, how do I specify whether or not the jump stitches are cut on the embroidery machine of the Innov-is series?
• When I sew an embroidery pattern design exported as DST format in PE-DESIGN, how do I specify whether or not the jump stitches are cut on the embroidery machine of the PR series?
• I've written the pattern onto the original card and selected it on the sewing machine, but I can't change the sewing position.

Design Center

• Why do I receive the Warning Message "Please change direction of sewing Region"?
• When I select the Gradation check box in Expert mode of the Region sewing attribute dialog box in Design Center, I cannot blend two colors.
• In the Design Center, I tried to set the thread color and sew type. When clicking the enclosed region where I want to apply the sewing attributes, the sewing attributes were also applied to other regions wrongly.
• When I need to open an image file that will be converted into the embroidery pattern in Design Center, should the original image be in color or does it need to be black and white?
