Print Problem - Troubleshooting

General

• The printer status is Offline or Paused. (For Macintosh)

Settings

Cannot Print

Print Quality Problem

• I am using Mac OS X 10.5. When printing with the BR-Script Printer Driver, the black color is ruddy.
• I am using Windows®/ Mac OS® 8.x-9.x. When I print from Adobe® Illustrator® with PCL printer driver, text and images are jagged.
• The white horizontal stripes appears on the printed image from the PaperPort® software What can I do?

Printing from an application

• When I print a document as a booklet from Microsoft Office 2003, a drawing object does not position correctly on the printed page. (For Windows® BR-Script Printer Drivers users)
• The printout is out of alignment or the size of the printed document is reduced when printing the document from Microsoft Word 2010.
• When I print from Microsoft Excel 2002/2003, Word 2002/2003 or PowerPoint 2002/2003, semitransparent graphics are printed incorrectly.
• I'm using Windows Vista®. I printed an Excel 2007 graph, but the print result is not correct, a part of the graph is not printed.
• Some characters are missing when printing PDF files from Adobe® Acrobat® / Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® / Adobe® Reader®. What can I do to correct this?
• When I try to print thin color borders in Microsoft® Excel, the borders are printed in black.
• When I print from Outlook/ Outlook Express or Internet Explorer, the page does not print as expected. For example, the right or left hand portion of the page is blank or it prints on a separate piece of paper.
