Print Problem - Troubleshooting

Cannot Print

  • I have connected multiple printers of the same model to one PC but can only print from one of the machines.
  • The text cannot be printed as specified.
  • When I try to print a label, it comes out blank.
  • When I press the print key, the power turns off.
  • I'm now unable to print from my PC, even though I could print moments ago.
  • Printing is possible by a user with Administrator access; however, printing is not possible by a user with Power User access. (Windows 2000/XP)
  • Printing is not possible. (USB connection)
  • Printing is not possible. (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Mac)
  • Printing is not possible.    (MAC OS X 10.3)

Print Quality Problem

  • Why do my labels have a blank horizontal line running through the text?

Tape Margin

  • How can I prevent the left margin (approximately one inch of space) that is produced before printing a label? (P-touch Editor 5.0)
  • How do I eliminate the margin from the start or end of my label when printing?
  • I want to print without excess tape before the label.

Printed Result

  • My label is printing like a mirror image. (P-touch Editor 5.0 for Windows)
  • My label is printing like a mirror image. (P-touch Editor 4.2 for Windows)
  • Why do stripes appear on my label?
  • Even though the tape length is set to less than 25 mm in P-touch Editor, the label is printed with a length of 25 mm.
  • Some parts of the label are not printed, even though it is shown correctly on-screen. Why?
