Web BRAdmin Security
The Web BRAdmin software offers three security options which can restrict the number of users
who can access the Web BRAdmin server or the number of users who can manage devices.
Using Web BRAdmin it's possible to:

Restrict access to the Web BRAdmin server based on IP address making it more difficult
to connect to the Web BRAdmin server.

Change the port number of the Web BRAdmin server making it impossible
to access the Web BRAdmin server.

Change Web BRAdmin server settings to prevent device configuration or other web BRAdmin
configuration settings for those people who can access the Web BRAdmin server.

By default the Web BRAdmin server software uses the HTTP port 80. If you wish to change
the port number used by the Web BRAdmin server software, use the "Web BRAdmin Configuration Tool"
to change the HTTP port number.

From the PC running the Web BRAdmin software click:
"Start | Programs | Brother Administrator Utilities | Brother Web BRAdmin |
Web BRAdmin Configuration Tool".
You will then see the following screen:

- Click the "Configure server pot number" button to display the following
|

Enter the new port number and click OK.
Changing the TCP port number settings in IIS
From the Microsoft Management Console, right click the "Default Web Site Properties"
option to display the following screen:
Enter the new TCP port number in the "TCP Port:" field. Please note, if you change
[the port number setting this way, you will not automatically be able to launch the
Web BRAdmin server software from the "Start | Programs | Brother Administrator Utilities" shortcut.
