Title:
Print a web page from Brother iPrint&Scan when using an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Description:

Please ensure that you have the latest version of the iPrint&Scan app installed in order to use all available features. Web pages are printed with borders and will be reduced or enlarged according to the width of the paper. If the web pages are longer than the sheet length of the paper, the web pages will be printed on multiple sheets of paper.

Choose one of the following options depending on your device:


NOTE: Illustrations and instructions may vary depending on the version of the application you are using. We recommend you use the latest version to take advantage of all the features supported.


iPhone and iPod touch - (USING THE BROTHER IPRINT&SCAN WEB BROWSER):

You can directly print web pages using the web browser that is installed in Brother iPrint&Scan.

  1. Tap the Brother iPrint&Scan icon on the Home screen.

  2. Tap Web Page.

  3. The web browser is displayed.

    You can view a web page using one of the following methods:

    • Enter the URL directly

      1. Tap the address field, and then enter the URL of the web page that you want to view.

      2. Tap Go, and then continue to STEP 4.

    • Search for keywords

      1. Tap image.

      2. In the search field enter the keywords that you want to search for and tap Search.

      3. From the Search results, tap the web page that you want to view, and then continue to STEP 4.

    • Tap a bookmark
      1. If you have already added a bookmark to the web page, tap image.

      2. Tap the bookmark of the web page that you want to view, and then continue to STEP 4.

    • Tap the history
      1. If you have viewed a web page previously, tap image.

      2. Tap History, and then tap the web page that you want to view. Continue to STEP 4.

    Note

    The bookmarks and browsing history of other web browsers on your mobile device are not available.
  4. The web page is displayed. Tap Print Preview.

  5. Depending on the web page, a thumbnail preview of the page appears. Pages marked with a check mark will be printed. Tap the page and remove the check mark if you do not want to print that page.

    Note

    - Tap Select All or Deselect All to select or deselect all pages.
    - You can enlarge the thumbnail by tapping image, and reduce by tapping image.

  6. Tap Done.

  7. Confirm the image on the print preview screen.

    Note

    - Tap the screen to hide or show the operation buttons.

    - You can view different pages in a multi-page web page by flicking left or right.

  8. Tap image. The Print Settings screen appears.

  9. Make sure your machine is chosen.

    • If your machine is chosen, continue to STEP 11.

    • If a different machine is chosen or if Device Is Not Selected is displayed, make sure your machine is turned on and then tap the displayed Printer name or Device Is Not Selected. Continue to STEP 10.

  10. The application will search your network and display a list of available machines. Tap your machine from the list and then tap Print Settings.

  11. You may change any of the print settings as desired. Once the settings have been configured, or if you do not want to change any settings, tap Done and continue to STEP 12.

  12. Tap Print. The machine will start printing.

iPad - (USING THE BROTHER IPRINT&SCAN WEB BROWSER):

You can directly print web pages using the web browser that is installed in Brother iPrint&Scan.

  1. Tap the Brother iPrint&Scan icon on the Home screen. If the screen for another function is displayed, switch to the web print function by tapping Web.

  2. The web browser is displayed.

    You can view a web page using one of the following methods:

    • Enter the URL directly

      1. Tap the address field, and then enter the URL of the web page that you want to view.

      2. Tap Go, and then continue to STEP 3.

    • Search for keywords

      1. Tap image.

      2. In the search field enter the keywords that you want to search for and tap Search.

      3. From the Search results, tap the web page that you want to view, and then continue to STEP 3.

    • Tap a bookmark
      1. If you have already added a bookmark to the web page, tap image.

      2. Tap the bookmark of the web page that you want to view, and then continue to STEP 3.

      1. If you have viewed a web page previously, tap image.

      2. Tap History, and then tap the web page that you want to view. Continue to STEP 3.

    Note

  3. The web page is displayed. Tap Print Preview.

  4. Confirm the image on the print preview screen. Depending on the web page, a thumbnail preview of the page appears at the top of the screen. To view a page, tap its thumbnail.
    Pages marked with a check mark will be printed. If you do not want to print a page, tap its check mark to remove the check mark.

    Tap image and then Select All or Deselect All to select or deselect all pages.
  5. Tap Settings. The Print Settings screen appears.

  6. Make sure your machine is chosen.

    • If your machine is chosen, continue to STEP 8.

    • If a different machine is chosen or if Device Is Not Selected is displayed, make sure your machine is turned on and then tap the displayed Printer name or Device Is Not Selected. Continue to STEP 7.

  7. The application will search your network and display a list of available machines. Tap your machine from the list and then tap Print Settings.

  8. You may change any of the print settings as desired. Once the settings have been configured, or if you do not want to change any settings, tap outside of the Print Settings screen to close the screen.

  9. Tap Print. The machine will start printing.
