Title:
The error message "The MFL Pro Software is already installed! To reinstall, please uninstall the software first then run this installation program again" appears. (For Windows®)

Description:

This error message occurs if all the Brother files are not deleted during the uninstall process.

Please follow the instructions below to remove the complete software package:

For Windows® 2000 Professional users:

  1. Click Start => Settings => Control Panel.
  2. Double click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. Select Brother MFL-Pro Suite, click the Remove button and follow the on screen instructions.

For Windows® XP users:

  1. Click Start => Control Panel.
  2. Double click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
  3. Click the Change or Remove Programs icon. 
  4. Select Brother MFL-Pro Suite, click the Remove button and follow the on screen instructions.

For Windows Vista®/ Windows® 7 users:

  1. Click Start => Control Panel => Programs => Programs and Features.
  2. Select Brother MFL-Pro Suite from the list, click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.

For Windows® 8 or later users:

  1. Open the Control Panel. (Click here to see how to open the Control Panel.)
  2. Click Programs => Programs and Features.
  3. Select Brother MFL-Pro Suite from the list, click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.
