The tape does not cut well.

Description:

Clean the tape cutter blades as follows:

Caution

Before cleaning the print head, rollers and tape cutter, press the power button  to turn off the Ptouch, and then remove the battery and disconnect the AC adapter.

Caution

Do not touch the cutter blade directly with your bare hands.

  1. Turn off the P-touch.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter and remove all the batteries.
  3. Remove the tape cassette.
  4. Clean the tape cutter blades using a dry cotton swab as shown below.
