ControlCenter2 is a software that gives you quick and easy access to many functions such as Scan and PC-FAX*1, *2 to your Brother machine directly from your computer screen. It also allows you to easily configure your machine's settings.
ControlCenter2 is included on the CD supplied with your Brother machine and installed automatically during initial setup. If you do not have the CD, you can install ControlCenter2 by using Scanner Driver in the Downloads section.
*1: Not all Brother machines support the PC-FAX function.
*2: PC-FAX function of ControlCenter2 is not supported in Mac OS X 10.7 or greater.
How to start ControlCenter2:
If you see the 
icon in the menu bar, click the icon and choose Open.
If you do not see the icon in the menu bar, click Go from the Finder bar, Applications => Brother => ControlCenter.app or Macintosh HD => Library => Printers => Brother => Utilities => ControlCenter => ControlCenter.app. The 
icon will be in the menu bar. Click the icon and choose Open.
How to check the ControlCenter2 version:
- Click
icon in the menu bar, and choose About.
- You will see the ControlCenter2 version as below.
