How do I adjust the settings of the ring volume, beeper volume and speaker volume on my Brother machine?

Adjusting Ring Volume:
You can adjust your Brother machine's ring volume by following these steps:
  1. Press Menu or Menu/Set.
  2. Select General Setup => Volume => Ring.
  3. Select the volume level. Press OK, Set or Menu/Set.
  4. Press Stop or Stop/Exit.
Adjusting Beeper Volume:
You can adjust your Brother machine's beeper volume. When the beeper is on, the Brother machine beeps every time you press a key or make an error and at the end of the sending and receiving faxes.

  1. Press Menu or Menu/Set.
  2. Select General Setup => Volume => Beeper.
  3. Select the volume level. Press OK, Set or Menu/Set.
  4. Press Stop or Stop/Exit.
Adjusting Speaker Volume:
You can adjust your Brother machine's speaker volume by following these steps:
  1. Press Menu or Menu/Set.
  2. Select General Setup => Volume => Speaker.
  3. Select the volume level. Press OK, Set or Menu/Set.
  4. Press Stop or Stop/Exit.
Speaker Volume and Message Center Mode(TAD-Mode)

If Message Center (TAD) feature is available for your Brother machine, you can adjust the speaker volume while you are listening to incoming and outgoing messages on the Brother machine's built-in Message Center (TAD) by pressing or .

If you turn Incoming Message Monitoring OFF, then you will not be able to hear caller's leaving messages over your Brother machine's speaker. You can still use or to control the volume during other Message Center (TAD) operations.
