Title:
I'm using a HL-7000 series and I cannot feed the paper from an optional paper feeding kit.

Description:

If your application software (i.e. MS Word, Word Pad etc.) allows you to select the paper source in the Print menu, you can select it through the software. In this case the software or command setting overrides the printer driver setting or control panel button setting.


We recommend you first check if it's possible to select the paper source from within your application software. If it's impossible, check the setting on the printer driver, following the instructions below.


  1. Open the property of the printer driver.
    (Right click on the printer name icon and select the "Property" from the Menu.)

  1. Open the "Accessories" tab.

 

 

  1. Click on "Auto Detect" button on the left side.
  1. Next, open the "Print Setting" menu and from the "Basic" tab in the printer driver please check if the setting next to "Paper Source" is as it should be.


 

 

  1. Click on the "Apply" button to fix the setting and click on "OK".
