How do I scan a document from my Windows Vista® application?

Description:

To learn how to scan from applications such as paint, follow the steps below.

 

Note

If you want to scan and save a document in PDF format, refer to the Related FAQs at the end of the page.
(This is only for ControlCenter Users. If you don't find the Related FAQs at the end of the page, that means this note is not applicable for your machine.)

 

  1. Click on "Start" => "All Program" => "Accessory" =＞ "Paint" .
  2. Click "File" =>"From Scanner or Camera...".

 
  1. You will then see the screen shown below. There are a variety of options that you can change, for example, if you wish to change the resolution of the image, select the "Adjust the quality of the scanned picture" option.
  1.  When you are happy with your choices select the "Scan" option and the document will be scanned using the settings that you have selected.
