When trying to print from MacOS®X the print queue is stopped.

Description:

You need to reactivate the queue to continue.  This is actually a feature of the Print Center application which allows you to pause print jobs for later printing or batch printing.


Please follow the instructions listed below.


  1. Open the Print Center application located in the utilities folder.
    (MacHD -> Applications -> Utilities)
  2. Double-click on the Print Center icon to open the application.
  3. Click on the Printer menu and select the Start Jobs or Start Queue option from the listed items.

Note

    Depending on the version of MacOS® X you are using, there may be different menu items and the appearance may vary, even though the functionality remains constant.

  1. Double-click the printer name from the main application window in the "Printer List".
  2. Another window will then open and you will see a button that will start the jobs. This button may indicate "Stopped" or "Start Jobs".
    Click the button to begin to print again.
