Creating a Banner Label (using label roll DK-22205 or similar) (Mac)

Description:

Create a banner using DK Continuous Durable Paper Tape.

  1. Insert the DK Roll.

    Insert the "DK Continuous Durable Paper Tape 2-3/7" into the QL-500/550.
    This DK Roll is provided as a starter roll with the QL-550. Separate purchase necessary when using the QL-500.

  2. Select the Tape Length.

    Start P-touch Editor.
    In the property dock, click Image to display the "page properties".
    Set the label width to 2-3/7", and set the label length to "Auto".

  3. Add clip art to the banner.

    Click  Image in the Object dock.

    The Clip Art Gallery dialog box appears.
    Select a piece of clip art and then click on "OK" button.
    The selected clip art is placed on the label, and move the clip art to the desired position.

  4.  Enter the text.

     Click  Image  on the Draw toolbar, and then click in the layout window
     and  type the text.

    Click Image in the property dock to display  the "font properties" and adjust  the font, size and style of the text.

    Click  Image  on the Draw toolbar, and then click on the text object and small squares, called handles, will appear around the text.

    Adjust the position of the text object by dragging it with the mouse.

  5. Print the label.

    Click Image  to open the print dialog box.

    Click the print button.

    Peel the printed label from backing and apply the label.
