Why doesn't my machine turn on when the on/off key is pressed?

Description:

Check the following points.

  • Are the batteries installed correctly?
    Make sure that the batteries are inserted with their positive and negative poles pointing in the correct direction.
    If the batteries are running low, the power will not turn on. Replace the batteries with eight new AA batteries. 

  • Are you using the correct AC adapter?
    Make sure that you are using the AC adapter designed exclusively for your P-touch (included in package, Model H1).
