Title:
Small characters are blurred or the edges of printed characters are jagged.

Description:

If the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" check box has been selected in the Display Properties dialog box for Windows, characters may not be printed cleanly. Follow the steps below to clear this check box.


  • Windows® 2000:

    1. Click on [Start] - [Control Panel].
    2. Double-click [Display].
    3. Click the [Effects] tab.
    4. Clear the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" check box and click [OK].

  • Windows® XP:

    1. Click on [Start] - [Control Panel].
    2. Double-click [Display].
    3. Click the [Appearance] tab and then click the [Effects...] button.

    4. In the Effects dialog box, clear the "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" check box and click [OK].

Note

With P-touch Editor 3.2.010 or later, the application is not affected by the setting in the Display Properties dialog box for Windows, as described above.
