How does the Auto Emulation function work?

Description:

This printer has an Automatic Emulation selection function. When the printer receives data from the computer, it automatically selects the emulation mode. This function is set as default to ON.

This printer can choose from the followng combinations:

 

Setting 1 (default) Setting 2

HP LaserJet 

BR-Script 3

EPSON FX-850

HP LaserJet

BR-Script 3

IBM Proprinter XL
