Title:

The machine does not print and the LED lamp flashes when I print using a built-in driver. (Windows Vista® / Windows® 7)

Description:

When you are using the Windows Vista® / Windows® 7 'built-in' driver (Inbox driver), the function of detecting the tape width / roll size installed in your printer, does not work correctly. Therefore, if the tape width / roll size is not the same as the one selected in P-touch Editor, the printer does not print.

To solve this problem, please try the following:
  • Before printing labels, please make sure that the tape cassette / roll is installed correctly, and the tape width / roll size inside the printer matches the one selected in P-touch Editor.

  • You need to use the printer driver for Windows Vista® / Windows® 7 instead of the 'built-in' driver (Inbox driver) to allow all the functions to work correctly.

To download the printer driver, please go to the download page using the link (Downloads) that is in the top left corner of this page.
