I get error messages on my computer when I try printing.

Description:

Check the following points;

  • The computer can work in bi-directional mode.
  • Selection of the printer is correct.
  • Recommended interface cable is being used. (IEEE 1284 compliant)
  • The USB cabling is OK.
  • The network cable is OK.

Note

    If you suspect a cabling problem, try using another cable or try using the suspect cable in another printer and then you will know if the cable works well or not.
